GeM — frequently asked

Is GeM seller registration free?

Registration on the GeM portal itself does not carry a registration fee. GeM may charge caution money / transaction charges as per its current policy; our professional fee for assistance is separate and quoted upfront.

Can a trader sell on GeM, or only manufacturers?

Traders and resellers can sell too. For many categories you will need OEM authorisation for the brand you offer — we help prepare it.

Do you guarantee that we will win a bid?

No. We make sure your bid is complete and compliant. Evaluation and award are decided by the buyer organisation as per the bid terms and applicable rules.

Do I need a DSC for GeM?

Many GeM actions use Aadhaar-based e-sign. Some bids and documents may still need a DSC — we tell you what applies to your case.
